Shan is the founder and CEO of Harvard MedTech. Shan is a serial entrepreneur who has founded, scaled, and sold three healthcare companies prior to Harvard MedTech. Two of them were medical device companies and the third a technology-enabled services company.
 
One of his medical device companies did a successful IPO on Nasdaq prior to eventually being sold to a strategic acquirer. Shan was named to the Chicagoland Entrepreneurial Hall of Fame and was chosen as the KPMG High Tech Entrepreneur of the year for Illinois in 1998.  He is a former member of the World Economic Forum and a current member of YPO.
 
Shan earned a Bachelor’s degree from Harvard University with a major in Biology.

Chief Operating Officer

Chris is responsible for Harvard MedTech’s operations, sales, marketing, account management, enterprise technology, and clinical teams. Chris’ career spans more than twenty years as an executive leader in workers’ compensation.
 
Prior to joining Harvard MedTech, Chris was the Chief Operating Officer for One Call Care Management, a leading provider of specialized solutions to the workers’ compensation industry. Chris’s experience also includes serving as COO for Coventry Workers’ Compensation Services, COO at Auto Injury Solutions, President at First Script, VP of Operations at Concentra Network Services, and VP of Provider Relations at Em3. Additionally, Chris currently serves on the Board of Directors for Kids’ Chance of America and has served on Harvard MedTech’s advisory board for the last six months.
 
He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas A&M University and proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps as an F/A-18 pilot.

Gerry Stanley, M.D.

Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Stanley has deep expertise in population health management, self-insured health plan management, medical consumerism and direct-to-employer network enablement.
 
Prior to joining Harvard MedTech, Dr. Stanley served as the Chief Medical Officer for the Employer and Consumer division of Cerner. While at Cerner he had responsibility for Cerner’s national system health centers and pharmacies serving self-insured employers. He was also responsible for, care coordination teams, a national team of corporate wellness strategists, an analytics division, a third-party administrator (TPA), and the self-insured and direct-to-employer strategies for Cerner clients.
 
Dr. Stanley received his undergraduate and medical degrees from Creighton and attended Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University where graduated from the Physician CEO program.

Phil is responsible for Harvard MedTech’s product and technology development, analytics delivery, and Program Management Office. Phil’s career spans more than thirty years of delivering products and technology solutions.
 
Prior to joining Harvard MedTech, he was CIO for a major market segment of Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) of Illinois, New Mexico, Texas, & Oklahoma. He was also Vice President of Analytics for Aon’s Risk Management Business. He has also provided technology and data-analytics consulting to organizations such as Wellmark BCBS Iowa, BCBS Louisiana, Henry Ford Medical, and Kellogg’s. Phil has also served as interim VP of Product Development for digital learning organization where he was responsible for product development and delivery.
 
Phil earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Senior Vice President of Sales

Mark is responsible for the execution of Harvard MedTech’s go to market strategy, growth initiatives, account management and sales operations. Mark has over 20 years of experience in consultative sales and leadership, including 13 years in the workers’ compensation industry.
 
Throughout his 13-year tenure in the industry, Mark has worked closely with insurance carriers, TPAs, and employers to introduce and implement solutions that provide significant cost containment value. Prior to his current role, Mark served as a senior sales leader at prominent organizations such as One Call Care Management and Allsup, Inc., where he led teams responsible for growth and profitability in highly competitive markets. Mark’s client-focused approach is centered on understanding each client’s objectives and goals to ensure long-lasting, successful partnerships that align with their unique business and customer needs.
 
Mark completed his studies in Marketing from Lindenwood University and currently serves on the Kids’ Chance Advisory Board.

Jeremy Bustanoby

Senior Vice President of Operations

Jeremy is responsible for Harvard MedTech’s day to day operations including intake, fulfilment, and clinical operations.
 
Jeremy’s career spans over 10 years of operational/clinical leadership and process improvement in healthcare. Prior to joining Harvard MedTech, he received his black belt in lean six sigma and was responsible for hospital operations and business development and strategy for Encompass Health hospitals in the Las Vegas region. In addition to increasing revenue and managing operations in the hospitals, he was responsible for successfully developing and scaling a telemedicine program focused on patient continuity of care and reducing readmission rates to community hospitals using mental health professionals and technology.
 
Jeremy earned his Bachelors degrees in Psychology and Exercise Science from Old Dominion University and then received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Old Dominion University.

Vice President of Finance & Accounting

Libby is responsible for Harvard MedTech’s Finance and Accounting department.
 
Libby’s has over 20 years of experience in a variety of industries and brings a wealth of knowledge to the company. Prior to joining Harvard MedTech, Libby was Senior Director of Finance at a consulting firm that specialized in providing technical accounting services to multiple organizations. She started her career at HCA Healthcare before transitioning into the construction, automotive, and pharmaceutical industries. She has experience working with firms of all sizes and a proven track record of managing finance departments for firms going through periods of rapid growth.
 
Libby received her MBA with a concentration in Accounting from Xavier University and an undergraduate degree in Finance. She maintains an active CPA license.
