Dr. Tripoli is a distinguished physician and healthcare leader with extensive experience in both military and civilian medicine. As the former Command Surgeon for U.S. Indo-Pacific Command in Hawaii, he directed expansive medical and health initiatives across more than half the globe, addressing the challenges of healthcare delivery in diverse and demanding environments. A decorated veteran, Dr. Tripoli was awarded the Bronze Star for his service in combat alongside the U.S. Marines, as well as the Defense Superior Service Medal and numerous other commendations. His career has been defined by a steadfast commitment to the well-being of the soldiers, sailors, Marines, and airmen under his care.
Dr. Tripoli earned his degrees from Harvard University and the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Board-certified in Internal Medicine and a member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America, he has held leadership roles across both military and private-sector healthcare institutions. His previous positions include Chief Medical Officer at Prominence Health (Reno, NV), Medical Director at MedImpact Health Services (San Diego, CA), and Chief Medical Officer of Correctional Medical Services (St. Louis, MO). Additionally, he served as Officer in Charge of the Navy Expeditionary Medical Unit at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany and as Senior Medical Officer for the U.S. Navy Personnel Command.
